You can rig up a stepper motor to be a generator...issues with starting and residual torque will make these motors rate low when compared to other motor conversions. I have a 24volt scooter motor too and a pair of batteries that came with it....go with this setup if you wish to play with things. Here is a few links that may help you on your journey... Basic motor conversion overview In depth and simple description of stepper motors and use A good guide for converting motors with calculators to go A quick guide to finding out which wire is which on a stepper motor ...hope you have fun, cheers http://cr4.globalspec.com/member?u=25757 http://www.instructables.com/member/OzzyRoo/ |
