has anyone built one of these as I have found a hp printer moter and I dont think the blades on the plan are big enough as the moter seems tight to turn you may think this is a dumb question but what sort of moter is best to use. also I picked up a 24 volt scooter moter and batteries could that be used for a wind generator thanks felix
dont the days seem lank and long when nothing gos right and everthing gos wrong

You can rig up a stepper motor to be a generator...issues with starting and residual torque will make these motors rate low when compared to other motor conversions.
I have a 24volt scooter motor too and a pair of batteries that came with it....go with this setup if you wish to play with things.
