Hello, Your idea is very interesting, I would imagine that you may see a few volts for a short time from your contraption, If it does not have too much gear resistance to get started that is. I would try to rotate the drill with another drill and see what kind of restrictive rotational forces are at work in a cordless drill, some have brake and shaft lock devices, I am not sure about yours. Also the bushings and gears are mostly plastic and will most likely fail in a very strong wind. On the bright side, at least your trying and that is commendable. If at first you dont succeed , try, try again |
