Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

OK, he is making a wooden propeller for an aircraft but there is plenty here to interest the wind turbine blade makers including all you really need to know to build your own blade duplicator.

(I am making one of these duplicators, for another purpose, and they seem very doable for the typical Back Shedder, my only problem is that it will take a lot of storage space! )

Hmmmm... I can see the interest in this subject is positively underwhelming!!

Never mind, here is a link to a site which even has pukka plans to make your own blade duplicator.

Hi John,

I do have an interest in turning trees into blades, but the chainsaw method is so simple and fast, it makes this stuff seem ..... sort of overcomplicated/poor use of resources, type of thing..... so I guess underwhelmed is true.

Hi oztules, I dont think my wife would let me have a chainsaw!

Being a townie nowadays I dont think there are any windmills in my future but I am making a copy router for another project hence my interest in such sites..
