Hi,
I'm in the process of gathering all of the materials to start my wind turbine project. I'm finding it difficult to find where I can get 1 meter (or a little larger) lenghts of 225mm (or larger) PVC pipe - for the blades. Can anyone suggest where in Melbourne I might be able to pick some up - most of the plumbing stores I've contacts only want to sell it in 6 meter lengths.

Although I'm not in Melbourne and nor do I watch a TV that speaks of Melbourne, I have seen cracked and broken large PVC on many construction sites.

It has been my observation a visit about quitting time with a quantity of cold adult beverages will yield amazing results on material acquisition.
