The model numbers wont mean much to us unfortunately.

Can you take a picture of the motors? Or tell us what the name plate on the motors themselves say?

Hi Gizmo,

Unfortunately I only know the model numbers as I don't have the actual washers.

Well if someone can help great, if not no lost sleep.

Thanks in any case.

Whirlpool Model: 6ALBR5233JQ This motor has a start and a run circuit, changed by a centrifugal switch. Also low and high speed. It also uses a start capacitor too. A non permanet magnet type motor.
Whirlpool 5132E This one uses the same motor as the above machine.
Hoover HP6150 Front Load Washer. This one does not ring a bell for me, sorry.

Thanks all and especially grub for the info.

I've found a F&P LW085K that has a smartdrive in it so I'll try and get my hands on it I think.

Cheers
