Has anyone tried out the F&P dryer motors?
I can buy a used dryer for $50.00 but I dont know what kind of motor it has, and the seller wont let me take the dryer apart to see...........any info. would be very helpful Thanks

There are two motors used in the dryers that I am aware of, both similar in design. The motor has a start and a run circuit switched via centrifical switch. There is capacitor to help boost things also. It is a none permanet magnet type. Hope this helps.
