I saw at a TV show this Windmill Prototype:

More pics here.

Update:
You can see the movie here. The story starts at 2:54 min., after commercials (first, it speaks about few foreign little inventions and how much money inventors gained and then, about romanian inventions and how little or no money romanian inventors gained. Then, is about windmill and after that, is about another romanian inventor, Justin Capra). The windmill starts at 0.5m/s wind speed and is compared with an AirX windmill...

Is worth watching entire movie.

This alternator is close to identical looking to a 1kW chinese type, which is probably a design from somewhere else anyway.

Comparing to an Air-X. These are quite small windmills.

That look interesting Vasi!

May I ask what was your experience with the F&P pieces?

Best regards

Yes, the propeller is mounted on a 1KW Chinese turbine for testing purposes. And yes, the target are small windmills, for starting in the smallest wind speed possible, more adapted to our country conditions.

Hi John,

The project stalled for long time because of family problems. Recently, I had the possibility to acquire a solar panel and a battery. Now, I finished mounting the solar panel and connected the battery and controler. I'm ready to connect the windmill but .. is not ready .

The 60 type stator is prepared as Glenn staggered stator connections, 5 poles in series and 3 poles series x 3. I will use original hub for a wile. I have the pipes for pillar, the all rectifiers (4 pieces for one stator) and no cable for connecting at controller yet. I hope this week to start making the blades (5 or 6 blades, 1.2m - depends on what material I can find on wood store). Not touched yet the 100 type stator, will wait until first one is up and running (but I will configure it as 6 pole series and 4 in series x 2).

I hope soon starting to post on my windmill tread.

Best regards
Vasi
