Repost of missing posts. paulsworld wrote..... Hey i want to know if anyone could help me in the way of how to pull out the control panel in my air x turbine for it always seams to be on auto brake. thanx. carl1 wrote..... Hi Paul just unscrew the ouside 3 allen key bolts and the whole prop with rotor comes out. The controle panel is then accessable behind the sliprings. I have an old 24 volt control board if you need one, with good brushes, and the slipring assembly that has no wear. cheers Harald carl1 also wrote..... Hi Paul I checked the "air " generator ( one of the first ones) today and I didn't get the same voltage on each phase, 29v @ 1000rpm on one and on the other two 16v,wired in star. So I checked each single phase/ field, all 16volt @ 1000rpm. Which means one phase is the wrong way connected, from the factory!, was easy fixed. So correct wired up to a three phase rectifier I had 36 Volt @ 1000rpm and at 360 rpm around 13 volt, means cut in speed. The original one is a 4 phase rectifier, but not a schottky! Cheers Harald GWatPE wrote..... I believe that the Air-X is wired the original way from the factory to give some output at low rpm. This is not a fault. Gordon. carl1 wrote..... Hi Gordon I will check both outputs on a lathe in the next 2 weeks. Harald The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
