Hi fellas, All I've been able to find in disc mags that are 2"x1/2" are only rated for 80c temp. if I can cool the genny enough will this temp. rating work?
If your not living on the edge your taking up to much space!

This temp rating is normal for neo's above N40. My 2"x1/2" round disks are N38 and 120C rated.

Hi Gordon, I've looked around on the web here in the states and have not had any luck finding any disc's that are below N40 grade. Can you tell me where I might find them?
If your not living on the edge your taking up to much space!

just a thought..but even here in ireland on a hot day ..(alas a beautiful but rare thing .. ) the temp on a car bonnet can easily hit 60/70 degrees c ....80 seems a bit close ...

Hi DaViD,

I purchased my mags in Aus, from a ferrite and mag importer called Neosid. A lower temp rating give the undesirable possibility of unequal flux loss. If SaCo were more powerful, these would be the go.

I'm going to keep looking for some higher temp. mags. maybe i'll run across some soon
