Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I am going to ask on this forum the same question since there is a different group of people. What is your average daily power output and for what diameter turbine? Also, what peak power output have you seen?

Hi imsmooth,

a good wind site will usually be devoid of big trees. Any trees will show flagging. We don't usually live in good wind spots. The wind energy available is easily calculated from recorded windspeed data. You would expect between 25-30% harvest with a good windmill.
