Hi Guys..

We're in the middle of an experiment to increase the spinning rpm of the F&P, but need to know how much torque the F&P produces @ different RPM?

eg 100/200/300rpm etc.. can anyone help me in the calculations for this?

Hi Steve

We need more info. It sounds like you want to use the F&P as a motor, is this right? Torque, or power, can be calculated by knowing your volts/amps/dutycycle feed into the motor. If your using the F&P as a generator, to work out the power needed to spin at say 300 rpm, you need to know what load is applied to the generator. ie no load and its easy to spin, dead short and you would need several hundred watts to spin.

Yeah thats correct..

we want to use it as a motor..
I actually talked with Michael @ ecoinn yesterday, who informed me that the torque is pretty constant between 1 - 1.5kgn depending on load..

so i think that'll be enough for me to work off..
