Have a 7p2p F&P going up soon. It is identical to glens build process on this web and has blades 1.2m long. This windmill will be combined with about 160watts of solar panels will be charging a 12v battery bank of about 880amp/hours. Will the Plasmatronics PL20 be a suitable charge controler for this situation? Thanks in advance. Brett |

Hi Brett I dont know much about using the Plasmatronic controllers, but there is some info here that may help. From memory it covers the use of a plasmatronic controller and relay to switch the extra current to a dummy load. Hi Brett, Yes the PL20 will work. The load (L-) on the PL20 is 20 amps. If your wind generator has a max of less than 20 amps you can use PL & wind sheet 1. If it is possible to produce more than 20 amps, then use PL & wind sheet 2. Hope that helps. Do you have one yet. I can supply you one and any other info if you need.
