Hi Guys,I was to start on my wind gen in the middle of January.Well so much for semi-retirement I'm only now partly through carving my first blade three months later.I'm starting off small and doing a four footer onto the very early F&P motors which here in New Zealand we called Gentle Annies. These are completely different to the current motors.Output around Fifty to sixth watts 300-400 rpm. This suits my needs nicely. My question is, do you guys put your control gear up with the Gennie or down the base of the pole or mast. My thoughts were to place mine down below to help with voltage drop.{100v down} Mine will be a 12volt system. Mast will be on peak of a hill and total run will only be 4 metres from gennie to ground. As usual your comments are much appreciated. Many thanks Maaca.
