Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi crew, we getting 57Kph plus winds here ,,Mill is maxing most of the time--100 S Delta un modified , is maxing at 12.5 Amps @ 28 volts into 24 v battery bank (with lots of lights on,for a good load).
I had it shorted out all last night and it behaved itself great-- 6am ,turned off the short and it's been max ever since-no chance of stopping it now .
But the big tower and gear is holding excellant. and the furling is on 80% of the time.
hardly any noise, can't see the 12 foot blades most of the time.
good to watch

Bruce,
Great to see that. Is this with the new non-cogging rotor from F&P or the standard one(s)?
12 foot or 4m dia. or about 2m radius blades, are you driving two F&Ps??

Hi Dom ,, sorry not to meet up with you when I was over there last year,,anyhow
The set-up was 100 S into Delta with standard grey rotor magnets(ceramic),nice and quite,, max'ed out at 12.5 Amps @ 28 volts into a big 24v battery abnk -- not too bad
But with the 80 series 2/7 I've seen in similar winds , upwards of 800 plus watts, scary ...
with these new beasts ,,"Seeley international" who knows???
