Hi all , 1st let me start by saying i am a noobie in all sense of the word :)
All the information Ive learned so far is from your website.
After reading posts and surfing the web , I finally decided to try to make a small vawt as my 1st foray into wind power , when i say small i mean 17 inches height X 8 inches wide/round.
I recently purchased some small magents NB40 grade 1/2 x 1 x 1/8 and want to make a alertnator for the small vawt , but im unsure as to what gauge of wire to make coils and how far do I space my magnets apart.
I bought 12 magnets total , and a small 12volt battery 7.5ah agm sealed non -spill battery for 19$ US.
all im trying to do is trickle charge it.
Any info i could get would be greatly appreciated.
