Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Crew,,

Today I received the new Fibreglass blades that Trev and Glenn have designed and built.

The result is great. They are beautifully designed, built and finished , congratulations Trevor and Glenn.

I will be fabricating a new BIG platform ,hub, and disc brake assembly for these as the platform I have now is a little "undersized" for these monsters.

They are 14 feet diameter,so with gearing ,they are probably suited to low wind speed and the new Seeley generators.. I'd say,at a glance, these blades are in the 1kw plus range ,so twin F&P or similar generators will be used.

A bit to do yet ,but will keep you posted on the progress.

Bruce.
