G.day all. I'm new here. Was just browsing the site and saw a pic of the twin stator FP unit. It struck me that it may be possable to effectivly decog that configuration by offseting the 2 stators so they are magneticly out of phase so the force of one overcomes the other. Maybe its already been done - not sure. You couldn't just parralel them electricaly of course after doing that.

I have a small commercial wind geny and have a few FP motors in the shed to play with one day. Those seeley moters look interesting but it may be some time before we see those on the heavy junk.

what sort of commerical wind genny do you run
where did you source it?
Are you happy with it?
$$$$$ ??
What is the output ??
What are you running of of it?

Im trying to source some seely motors myself Ill let you know if I find an abundant supply

Have you try to contact other member Dennis Latham if he has any seely motor left as i have brought one just over months ago

I got it for nothing in a broken state many years back.

I fixed it and it ran for a good few years.
Its a rutland FM910

At the moment its down for some work.

Used it to run some radio gear and sometimes a bit of lighting. I'm removing the bridge rectifier and will run AC from the tower. The rect will go inside. It was darn noisy in electrical terms. 12 volts 72 watts if I remember right.
