I got my new soldering station in the other day made me feel like a little kid again I started trying that hot air gun out first one I've ever seen all it was so awesome all thirty seconds of it then it blew up talk to the seller they agreed to send me a new one and they didn't want this one back woohoo time to tear it apart and see what it's made of it was very surprising it was made of very little a small transformer with 3 secondaries on it a 12-volt 28 volt and a 32 volt so I started testing everything on the board all the transistors was good couldn't find anything wrong so I decide to Just for kicks and giggles to test the outputs of the Transformer lo and behold the 12 volt had no output woohoo time to wind a small toroid where's Amber at Honey Sweetie baby doll love of my life and it worked she helped me wand the Transformer all three independent secondaries which sucked I don't understand why they had three but anyway put it all back together fired right up and I got to work on my little China inverter board works very well now very impressed with it and I've got a new one coming the Square Transformer in the pic was the original one

so it was the little transformer that blew?

How does the PSU in there work?

Not sure how it works just checked the transistors it looked a board over really well and couldn't find nothing wrong that's when I checked the Transformer this is the first Transformer me and Amber wound this week family got around to wanding the one for the little China board today

Did you buy this from ali or ebay?

If you can tell me the name of the seller and the item title, I would love to check it out

on eBay, different sellers sell the same thing with vastly different internals

The seller was very awesome they sent me a new one it works great I just took it out of the box long enough to check it so now I have an extra one I like the one I upgraded a little better it has the toroid in it private message me if you still need the seller's name I'll look it up for you
