Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi all,
I'm considering using a complete EV pack such as Nissan leaf (360V) for energy storage but since it's HV,I want to add arc fault detection and earth leakage detection on the DC side.
Has anyone here done this before? I'd be up for a DIN mounted solution but can't find any off the shelf AFDD's that accept DC. Only AC ones on the market.
There are ICs built for the purpose of arc fault detection such as the SM73201, and Texas instruments do an eval board but the sm73201 seems to just be an adc and you have to write your own code to read and detect the unique arc signature.
