Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

hi guys,
hybrid i like your idears, i have seen similar motors on net that display huge amount of power the rotor was adjustable so it was wound over the stator to increase power and retracted to slow down or break, and the magnetic motorcycle vid also showed the potential. i have played with rare earth motors building a few failures lolol.
how do you think your motor adapted to a wind generator go?
the wind provide the initial starting and overcoming stalling meanwhile the magnet motor provides unrestricted driving/power. shurely it would at least help the momentum to keep turning and increase output?
whats your thoughts
Hi Martin. Blades added to one end would certainly give it a direction to spin.
A starter motor & a flywheel can too. search Cycclone magnetic motor.
That motor only has 4 magnets. He wants to make a 300hp 8 mag one.
I can't see his overcoming much load. I'm closing the gaps & using 100s.
But Bigger gaps = higher rpm. Your thought of blades would bridge the gaps if you have good wind to push it.
I can't see a magnetic motor propelling 1600kg from a set of lights too well.
Reducing the attraction either side of the mag is the key, as well as angling
& staggering the alignment. My goal is to supply 144v to an 800a curtis
controller to power an 8" adc motor indefinately in a car. The dc motor will get
1600kg off the lights with no probs. An AC motor would be a car manufacturers
choice, because it increases power as it builds revs like a petrol motor. But
an AC leaves the lights mild & then revs it's tits off. I'm an old V8 person &
prefer the DC power from zero revs to 4500rpm & then change gear.
I Only want 1 battery for lights & sterio, that is changed by an alternator.
Controling the speed of the mag motor, it's neutral & braking I have sorted out.
98 petrol prices have priority 1st. AC power for a house I'd play with later.
