Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Well I do consider this being a successful day as we put my 3.3gB music collection the 64gig USB stick and clicking on the first song worked so got a heap of work done on the music player page.

Now as my collection was all in one file got claude to sort it out so now all the songs are in artist folders and making a playlist is nice and easy. At first I had a song going and when I went to menu the song stopped so now the playlist can play in the background and got a play/pause button on every page so the music can be stopped muted or paused. Also the music is stored in the members profile so other users can add their collection.

Now got the USB Sticks working that will be the only way to export as the SDCard will be off limits as it does hold the club.py files and all the other files needed so they will be off limits to the user.

As this LCD only draws 5 watts the Flip 6 BT Speaker can be the power supply for the pico3 where one should get a full day of use then the Flip 6 can be charged.

So tomorrows job is working in 3D Model Editor on making a stand so the LCD and Flip are all mounted firm with a snap lock for the Flip so it can be removed easily. Then my future son in law will have the job of 3D printing it for me

Pictures will come once the new mount is made and this first unit is all together.

Well I did find the boot times were blowing out so after 3 days of stuffing around claude said club.py is using 87% of ram on bootup.

So I said you recommended in the beginning to put everything in one file so today got it to export every page so we just load the login and menu page so now boot times are down to seconds

This morning for the third time(try) got claude to use the V.17 source and attach btaudio to it, well sounds simple enough doesn't it not for claude as it kept turning options off and at one stage totally lost everything, glad I got ssh going as it did capture the BT speaker faulty where the song cutoff after 15 seconds and said it was fixed.

Well went to pair the BT speaker and got it connected only to find claude barging in on the repl well finally via SDCard loaded the new separate page club.py only to find the Flip wouldn't pair.

So hopefully tomorrow will be a better day as club.py is going V2 so plenty of work to do.

Well today was testing out audio with BT and audio onboard, played the first song and at 2.17 got what I call a cutoff this one lasted a second then play again this happened two more times so it was time to test the BT Speaker. Now as I have new firmware on and all of club.py is now on a seperate .py file pairing after boot wasn't installed so using the BT speaker page got it connected in the first or second 6 sec pair window.

Good quality music from the Flip 6 and those cutoffs came again now claudes attempt at logging showed the track played purfect yet in real life those cutoffs were still there.

After 6 songs were played and logged 2 logs did pickup where the track cut off short so in the morning we can hopefully chase this down and as claude this is that low level where its log script can't pick it up BTaudio will get a good look at to see where this conflict is occurring so when a song is played whether audio or BT the quality is there.

One does have to wonder if a psram board was made up with a few of them how would this pico3 run with 64meg of ram instead of 8.

Well got the lcdbase 3D printed yesterday so now got a mount for the screen with a handle   also Sam programmed the 48 port switch and wifi router so edited main.py and now all my boards have wifi at boot.

Got claude to setup wifi on computer B and told him it should be childs play to connect to the boards by wifi   after repeating myself more than a dozen times it finally got the hint so now all data transfers are done by wifi.

Another task that took hours the on screen keyboard didn't have the second symbol page where I found I couldn't input '@' it finally twigged and soon that 2 screen keyboard with manual controls in the editor cut/copy/paste so finally the onscreen keyboard is done.

Also when touch isn't used the on screen keyboard isn't shown as that was a bug that needed squishing

Also put a ram usage meter in the ticker which was interesting to see that the menu page used 44% of the ram and when a song was played it jumped to 18% remaining so found a few more bugs where claude producing code kept bricking the pico3 so tomorrow more repeating myself to get it going where songs can play in the background.

But with wifi I'm going to see if claude can make a browser and club.py can login into the backshed forum

Having fun
