Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Terry
We are getting off the track a little from soldering irons, sorry sparkey, but you made me laugh. Here is one for you. A mate of mine was working on a vidio game. He had his head in the back and must of touched the CRT base board with his forehead. He lost his eye sight for a short while and also punched a small hole into his forehead corterizing it at the same time. A great party trick was putting a match stick into the hole.
A little bit of laughter sure helps in between programing. Im new to programing. I find it very frustating and so rewarding at the same time. Also not easy when I have ADHD.

I thought ADHD was a prerequisite to electronics and programming! Its easier to ask forgiveness than to seek permission!
