You're away for a few days and miss out on all the cool new features (PicoMiteHDMI MMBasic USB RP2350A). For anyone else who's in the same situation, here's a quick video summary of the news. I finally got round to testing my video grabber (HDMI and VGA! - Colour Maximite 2 is also possible). I hope it helps some of you. https://youtu.be/0g14Llv0SuA - Breakout https://youtu.be/Hh9D13UEVrY - GamePlatform https://youtu.be/YT_DTjbK3bw - Blit RESIZE abused ;-) https://youtu.be/KgFP00FgVPA - Vectorball Matthias PS Videos are so much more entertaining than photos, right? Great job Martin H. - looks better than Pole Position on the Atari 8-bit computer. |

Homa, Your Blit Resized demo looks like your half-way to BallBlazer! |

Here is missing Petscii Robots Video by "Volhout and the Backsheds" I recorded that back then using a simple VGA-to-HDMI adapter connected to an HDMI grabber, and then captured it with OBS. There was a lot of lag while playing, so I often end up missing my targets Unfortunately, the audio got very quiet along the way |

That was exactly the idea behind it: the entire ground is generated from the two lines in the middle, and the speed would be high enough to display an additional “viewport” for a second player or NPC. The extra enhancements from vegipete really let the player glide. The rules in BallBlazer aren't overly complicated; they should be possible to replicate in Basic. |

https://youtu.be/HQb_nPCfa1Y - GEMS'n'ROCKS Hi Martin, I’ve also captured your GEMS'n'ROCKS (on PicoMiteHDMI). When I have time , I might do the same with all the animated graphics. The “PicoMiteVGA DEMO” with moving graphics is pretty cool, too. Matthias |
